Smoke request for a friend

Hey guys.

I know I've been a little scarce around here lately. Tough schoolwork, and the happenings of college. Life's been pretty good, though, and I've managed to stop by every now and then to check things out and post a few.

What brings me here right now, however, is not quite so fun-loving as bird-flu zombies and dawks.

A good friend of mine was in a pretty serious car accident earlier this evening, and could probably use some smoke right now. He sustained some head trauma, and had to have his cranium drilled to relieve the pressure from the swelling. I don't know his exact condition (privacy laws won't let the hospital tell me, and his folks aren't here yet), but I do know that he's serious and in Surgical ICU.

If you guys could spare a little smoke, I'm sure he'd appreciate it.

Smoke up. Take care, Chris. Those privacy things are a real pain. Before my wife was my wife, it was like pulling teeth when I was in the ER for anything. Please let us know if there is anything else that we can do.

Smoke! Head injuries are always worrisome.:(
Surgical ICU even worse.:( :(
 
Car wrecks are scary, hospitals are scary, pain sucks, being helpless sucks, knowing what you're putting your friends and family through sucks. Prayers for your friend? You bet. Hope he's up and at 'em soon. :thumbup:

Prayers for your friend, Nam. These things happen and it is good friends like you that make recovery easier.

Consider it done. A friend of mine was in a very bad car accident in high school. She had severe head trauma and was in a coma for several days. She pulled through and made a full recovery. I'm sure your friend will too. A little extra smoke coming up from here should help a lot. :)
