Just a few days ago, my friend Stan lost his 20 month old grandson. Boy stopped breathing in his sleep for unknown reason. He was given CPR by his own father and then taken to the hospital once the ambulance arrived. Eventually he was diagnosed as being brain dead. We still don't know the reason why. They decided to let him go peacefully.
This comes at a *horrible* time for this family. Stan's (the grandfather) wife has a brain tumor which has caused her to just this year require 24/7 medical care including breathing through a tube as well as extremely expensive meds. They have insurance but it isn't particularly good. It has already been a physically and mentally (not to mention financially) debilitating year for Stan and his family.
Leo was Stan's *best* friend and he is absolutely crushed over this lost. He feels as if his world has fallen apart. And he is one of the very nicest, most kind guys you could ever hope to meet.
If you guys could please send up some smoke / prayers / good thoughts for him and his family please do so.
