I kind of feel bad even asking you guys, given the type of problems that seem to pop up here with everyone and their family. My cat Oleg is sick. They are running test now but think that he has some kind of kindney disease and may be dying. He is like my child. He is the little brother of the monster tabby that you see in my Avatar. So if anyone has any good thoughts that they can send his and my way I would be gratefull. Thanks everyone. :(

Done, Mark.

I had Max for 17 years, and enjoyed every year of my service to him. I still talk to him. He is still sarcastic. :)
 
Done. I have 3, 1-2 year old kittens, Same parents,2 different litters(1 older sister and her baby brother and sister). It's amazing how attached you can become to them, even though you know that you live in "their" house, and are only there to "serve" them. :) Somke going out to you and Oleg.
 
You got it Mark. I already mourn the day years from now when I will lose my best friend that I rescued from the SPCA 3 years ago. They are family and people who say otherwise have no idea what they are talking about.

Mark, my cat went through a very bad kidney episode about two years ago. He had blood in his urine and we thought for sure we were going to lose him (he was about 12 at the time). After about two weeks of treatment he fully recovered. Now he eats a cat food called "Feline K/D" for his kidneys, but otherwise he's good as new at 14.

Keep the faith, good thoughts coming your way.

Thanks everyone. No real news I am afraid. They are going to keep Oleg on a IV overnight and then run some more test in the morning. The thing that is killing me right know is his brother going from room to room to room looking for his brother and then coming to me and giving me a sad long meow. Thanks hearing from you all has made me feel a little bit better.
 
You got it, Mark. I love my pets so very much. I actually prefer my 4 legged friends to the 2 legged snakes that walk all around us. Smoke and prayers going up for you and your cat.
