Looks like he's going to the front like a bullett...we'll see...

What the heck are you talking about? It would be nice if you weren't so vague.

It's obviously a secret message. I thought you mods were smart enough to figure out stuff like that. ;) :)

Sorry,
For all of those uninformed, today at New Hampshire International Speedway, Tony Stewart led 232 of 300 laps enroute to the win, his 22nd in the NASCAR Nextel Cup series.
That is all.
Carry on...

Not saying you shouldn't discuss it here or anything like that but there is a whole NASCAR thread going on at the moment where you might find a bunch of people who are into it.

Been totally involved in that thread, in fact replied to you several times about the Aussie version of NASCAR, but that's like saying we should have nothing but one whole Spyderco, Sebenza or Benchmade thread regardless of new models introduced or existing different models discussed. This a new week and new race and worthy of a new thread. Of course, I'm not a moderator and cannot make this decision...
Also, not quite sure why you guys think this belongs in gadgets and gear. Would an NFL or Major league baseball discussion be placed there? NASCAR is the #1 most watched sport/competition in North America. Just wondering...

I'm not a mod so I can't answer that question.

When we start talking racing we often tend to get talking about tires and fuel injection and stuff like that. If we had some threads about auto racing in Community Center and only moved the ones that end up getting technical to Gadgets & Gear, the general subject of cars and auto racing would be split between two forums and harder to follow than keeping it all in one.

But sometimes it's not easy being a moderator. Where should discussion of whether eels boiled in broo should have imitation lime juice in it or not go?

Right on Cougar. Still don't agree, but thanks for answering my question.
Proceed...

Taken from The Community Center Rules & Regulations sticky.

Gadgets & Gear: Threads regarding any object that is not a knife, such as guns, gun related articles, shoes, flashlights, backpacks, spoons, cars, motorcycles, etc. belong in this forum. This includes discussion of same.

I'm really getting annoyed with being questioned about why or where I move a thread. It could be worse...it could get locked, deleted, blown up, kidnapped, murdered. It was just moved and there is a redirect in the Community Forum to this forum. Don't worry your pretty little head...people will still read your thread. (I made a rhyme!:D)

Glad you're keeping it light

and don't want to fight

'cause it'd last all night

& give the readers great fright

so now youve made it right

why not give an apple a bite ?

I had to laugh at Stewart's response to the interviewer's question about why he climbs the fence after a win. He said something like "It's MY thing. I did it first so if anybody else does it you know they're copying me". I know he was kidding around but I'll point out that Helio Castroneves has been climbing the fence after wins for years. :)

Gadgets & Golf might be a good sub-forum ?

One for just the #1 spectator sport is out of the question.

A vast majority of the time the topic strays to the cars themselves therefore it gets moved here. If a baseball topic starts to stray to the equipment I will move that also. Same goes for any major league sport but discussions about NASCAR are the prime offender.

ok,ok...
wasn't mad...just said I disagreed. Read the rules and understand...g&g it is...

H.C. climbed the fence, but Smoke went over the top. At least he's smart enough to keep his helmet on. Not sure Joe Gibbs or Home Depot are real thrilled with his Sir Edmund Hillary impression though...
