Today a friend of my family lost the battle with cancer. I want to light cancer on fire and kick in it's gonads.

Sorry to hear about your friend, Beth Ann. Cancer sucks! Smoke up and I'll say a prayer.

Have a 34 year old friend diagnosed two weeks ago.
Lost grandmother, uncle and father to the bastid.
Cancer sucks.

Losing a friend is never easy, no matter if it is sudden, or gradual. What is most important is that they knew you cared about them before they went. Tomorrow is promise to no one.

I lost my dear mother to cancer several years ago. I'm to the point now were every once in a while, a day goes by when I don't think about it and her, but not often. It's tough. There really is just nothing to say.

Sorry to hear of your loss BA. Smoke goin up for you, and the family and friends.

Please accept my condolences. I hate cancer--it took my best friend a few years back.

That always sucks BA I've lost many family and friends over the years to the Big C, even when the well meanin' peole say, "At least they're not sufferin anymore" it still sucks caues your left behind.

One thing made me feel a little better when my Brother inlaw lost his battle some idiot said it was God's will and his daughter broke down and started yellin' at God, this woman went on to say you can't be angry at God for what he did, the priest who was doin' some blessin's came ove and grabbed the girls hand in his and told her, "It's alright to be angry at god for what he did, but you shouldn't abandoned your faith or belief in God'

But just like God he forgives us for indiscretions, so we also need to fogive and move on.

Smoke and prayers to all in need.

My deepest condolences, Beth. I don't know one single person who hasn't been touched in some way by cancer.:(

Thanks all.
She was a good woman. She fought the cancer like a boxer, but went gentle into that good night. She will be remembered fondly by all who met her.

Sorry for your loss. The Beast takes far too many good people. I was one of the lucky ones; 4 years and 8 months ago I was diagnosed with stage IV cancer in my jaw. Lost 1/2 of it, all of my left fibula rebuilding my face, along with big chunks of my arm to complete backfilling all the holes. I'm not purdy anymore ( but then I wasn't to begin with), but THANK GOD and modern medicine, I'm still on the green side.
As the saying goes...put your money where your mouth is...cancer does NOT have to win...but it takes money to beat it. Donate today, and often

i currently have a 20 year old friend in his second battle with leukemia. i have also lost a few family members to cancer. it is never easy.
