Smoky Mountain Knife Show

I was sitting in my chair half napping with SMK's Friday night show playing in the background (those two guys are almost too painful to listen too and I'm from Mississippi). Anyway, they featured Wild Bill Cody's Bald Eagle Bowie and I perked up and had a look. You just don't get a sense of how big a knife that bowie is until you see someone holding it in their hands. Its a monster knife with as nice a sheath as I've seen on a Buck ever. Looks like Wild Bill made another great design.

Evil Eye Earl, you should check this bowie out since you like those big Bucks...you may need to hack down a mesquite tree on something.

Hi edbeau,

The western is the same overall length and shape as a caseXX bowie...14.5". That said I have a caseXX bowie and not a Western bowie. The buck 903 is 15.25" overall and a much better knife IMHO. However, I am a Buck nut, so I may be biased.

That is a very nice knife. I have a few Westerns but I now have more Bucks.
