May 2022 catalog arrived today. Thumbed thru it twice and could not find any Buck knives. Buck and SMKW had a long history of exclusives going back decades. I guess times are a changing for Buck. I did check the SMKW website and there are some Bucks there.
 
I get once in awhile a mailer magazine from them. usually have a single page at most on Bucks.

but you're taking about the entire 2022 catalog of every brand smkw carries, right? how thick is that book?
 
That is a shame... don't know on who's end what precipitated it, but it seems like Buck started with SK and is shedding other "exclusive" outlets... can
C&C be too far behind? Actually, come to think of it they only exclusives that have been up for sale recently is a limited number of NOS stuff they discovered
in storage/inventory. I think the days of special project knives are gone.... except, maybe, when a behemoth like Bass Pro/Cabela's, commissions a lucrative (for Buck) run.

I miss the SFO's.

C&C and SK Blades came up with some great offerings. So good that Buck has since copied them once the exclusive ran out.
.....in some ways that seems wrong. Shut those dealers out, then copy their ideas.....?

Jesse, it is a monthly catalog... May 2022. 79 pages.
I've ordered stuff online in the past, wonder if that gets me on a mailing list?
I've never had a flier from them

I wrote that poorly. I get a magazine from them once in awhile. not monthly though...and i dont think its 79 pages thick...but might be..I haven't counted or really paid attention to it. usually has one page of some Buck knives in it. few pages of case knives. page of cold steel, and on and on.

I've often wondered if the distr or makers co-op or pay for part of the ad space/listing from the bigger dealers who do these catalogs?

There were 35 Buck products in the April digital catalog and 0 in the May edition. Very interesting!
