Smooth G10 mods?

I got the KnifeJoy exclusive smock purely for the 20cv and did not anticipate the “smooth G10” to be so slippery. Go figure..... any advise on how to add traction? The smock shape doesn’t allow a lot of grip to begin with and now with the smooth scales I’ve already dropped it a few times just fidgeting.

The easiest way would be some skateboard or stair tape cut into whatever decorative pattern you find pleasing. Next would be modding the scales like with a checkering file or a dremel to add stippling.
