Smoothest knife ever...my first CR knife

Hey guys, I've been a lover of fine cutlery for many years and have seen and owned many different models and brands. Somehow, I never handled a Sebenza. I almost bought one a couple times or a Zaan, but never really liked the Plane Jane Ti look. There are many gorgeous Sebbies out there, but I either got there too late and they were bought or I was putting the money towards another purchase. I finally decided to purchase a Large Sebenza 21, which arrived yesterday, and I must say...it surpassed my expectations (and they were high).

I love this knife. The tolerances are so tight and F&F is perfect in every way. I have a Hinderer XM-18, which I love, and it's smooth. I had a Burke Rockstar and it was smooth. Love my DDC SnG...but this Sebenza beats them all in the smoothness. No stick on lock, blade is perfectly centered, no machining marks. Blade is razor sharp and the grind is gorgeous. It's immaculate and impeccable. I know I'm preaching to the choir, but I honestly didn't expect to be as nice as it is. I love it and plan on using mine.

Here are a couple pics for now from my iPhone. I hope to take better pics soon. I'm a Chris Reeve Knives fan!

This is a Large Sebenza 21 with Honduran Rosewood inlays and polished gold thumb lug and spacer:

That is one exceptional piece, you scored big time with that one, Congrats bro and Welcome to the Club.

Mmmmmm... what a beautiful choice of inlays. When I first saw that this wood even existed [on a CRK] my jaw just dropped! Enjoy! This one's probably not going to be your last...

Thanks for the kind words. I appreciate them. Happy to be here, and thrilled with my new knife acquisition.
