I've been working on this Buck Strider lately. I smoothed and radiused the scales a bit to make it more comfortable to carry and work with and polished the B.B. blade around the pivot, but there still is a great deal of friction preventing a smooth opening.
The knife is built with a bunch of thin copper washers stacked on each side of the blade around the pivot, but I think they're preventing a smooth action. Do you think I can get some Teflon washers to replace them to make it smooth? Where would I find something like that? Any other ideas?
