Smoothing it in the Tea Creek Back Country

man, and here I read through that saying, damn it was hot this weekend!!!!!!lol.............

Nice photos! Looks like it was a great trip. I'm jealous of the weather - we're stuck in the middle of a rather prolonged heat wave right now, and I would gladly trade hot & humid for cool & icy.

Thanks for sharing,

Yeah we're going back there this weekend.

Thinking of camping at the shelter and then just doing a 10 mile loop each day so we can end up back at that swimming hole since the heat is supposed to be so bad!:o

I was all excited that it was 50 degrees somewhere on the continent, until I saw the date. I'd have been headed there for some camping if that was the case. Nice pics as usual HD.

HD, I can't begin to tell you how much I enjoy your hike documentaries, both here and on another site I frequent. Having such a good companion on the trail and in camp makes it all the better. One day... I keep telling myself, one day.

Not wilderness but here's another cool trip

ALL GOOD FESTIVAL

Long.. long time since I went to good music festivals. Last century, I made anual pilgrimages to the Mountain View Folk Festival back in Arkansaw. Woof! That was a huge lineup there HD! The rain didn't look like it drove many people away either.
