Well fellas, I got my snaggletooth in today. It was easy to install It's Made in America and the owner of the company is a very nice man who checked with me until I got it. You're not going to find better customer service anywhere like this. I really like the snaggle tooth. And I'm probably going to put some on the rest of my blades. I highly recommend this device. It went on lickity split. I am 100% satisfied.

I got the Derin. Installation is pretty easy, and it works nicely. I've been pretty stoked to be able to snag it on the way out of my pocket to open my voyager. The snaggletooth function great and looks a hell of a lot better than a zip tie. I wish the aluminum were a little cheaper, or offered at a discount for bulk purchases.

How do you like the delrin one? I would like to put another on my Counterpoint xl. The thumb studs are close to the scales. This will eliminate that problem.

I use a combination of both and both are awesome. For the Hold out however, I would suggest the Aluminum since the jimping on the spine where it sits necessitates really cranking it down and you won’t get as much tightness out of the delrin. The rest I have used have been
Fine with either

The delrin was the original, but over tightening can destroy it. The aluminum model is the way to go.

I cannot endorse their products, enough. It really breathed new life into some of my past favorite EDC's. My Recon1 and Counter Point 1 went from great to amazing.

Last time I picked one up, I bought a second just in case. Ended up needing it for an SR1 I bought at a knife show. The SR1 thumb stud uses an odd size screw. I contacted the owner just to get the size, so I could source one myself. He immediately shipped me 2 of em.

Awesome product. Awesome company.

After a month or so, It started wiggling a little bit, and I hesitate to keep tightening the screw down. Jury's still out... I'll probably spring for one or two in aluminum for knives that see more use.

The aluminum can definitely be cranked down harder. I have cranked my delrin teeth also though. They can take it to a pretty reasonable extent, but yeah the aluminum are strong as hell and you can really slam em on. That said, I’ve never had a problem with any of the delrin ones cracking or bending. Just like I mentioned on the Hold Out, I needed to use aluminum because of the spine jimps and the need to make it super tight.
I want to get a Recon 1 cog ring from him eventually and perhaps the Black Talon II cog ring. Those look awesome

My next to mod is my Counterpoint xl. I'm going to get a black aluminum one. There is not much room to fit my thumb under the stud (if that makes sense) slow to operate.

I’ve done 2 Counter Point XLs and they worked perfectly. That’s a huge knife, heavy blade, so yeah going with aluminum will be perfect. Hope it comes out awesome!

Did you do it because of the spacing between the thumb stud and the scales? Or is it just me
It made it way easier to open yes. Otherwise I just flicked it open using gravity but I know what you are talking about. The same issue is present on the tiny Hold Out (sold mine, but same issue)
