Snail Trails Fix

Has anyone come up with any way to remedie snail trails and small scratches on titanium handled knives like the Spydiechef? I have a spydiechef that has some nice snail trails/scratches. The new finish is kind of like a matte bead blasted finish. Anyone recondition theirs back to this state?

I've sand-blasted titanium back to a matte finish successfully. You can see here:

Use the knife so there is so many snail trails you can't tell it's a snail trail.

Have the handle stonewashed, it will give you a worn in look and hide future scratches and wear very well.

If you carry titanium, it will eventually develop its own stonewash, especially if you carry together with coins and keys.

I did a Scotchbrite treatment on this one.
It polishes edges and high spots but I'm pleased with the worn in look I achieved.

I've seen people using sandpaper & "dabbin" the scales on the sandpaper to hide small trails.
