Snake Bite...

He didn't even wake his sleeping son because he did not want to cause a scene. That man has got some Big brass ' you know what'!

The only snake bite I need is Yukon Jack on the rocks with a splash of lime.

No worries....he had the cold beer...I thought that was the Antivenom?! Not real familiar with all the Aussie brews but I do favor "VB" Victoria Bitters (kinda old school I guess).

I only see Rattlers here in my backyard still some nasty little buzz-worms!!!!

Snakes?...that's one thing. You haven't seen the other bities they've got..... Nasty!!!!!

I've got a friend down under, and that place is LOADED with venomous things (and other nasty biting creatures). The main thing is to be careful swimming in the the rivers he told me. As for snake bites, that topic reminds me of a great chuck norris joke... "Did you hear about the cobra that bit Chuck Norris? After 3 days of intense, debilitating pain... the cobra died."

.... depends where, south of the Tropic of Capricorn you are good to go (from Crocs any way).

Rivers are one thing, mate.....walk in the bush and beware of spiders and snakes. Get up in the A:M and shake your shoes before putting them on. Don't stick your hands under anything without seeing what's there ( use stick to turn over log). Crocs, sharks, blue ring octopus, jellyfish....and more..... Oh yeah!.... In the outback and up north, watch out for razorbacks, dingos (more than one can be a handful). Don't go near big red Roos , either....

Know what? I absolutely love the Aussie bush! Scared of the bities, but love it anyway....

Crikey!! Watch your babies around the dingo's...

The first time I ever saw Dingos I was sitting in a van on a narrow path, about 6AM..... 5 of them circling the van. Too close for comfort. I would not have gotten out. They were looking at us as if we were lunch..... Not intimidated by humans one bit....

I'm going to have to say that he handled the situation a lot better than I would have. I probably would have stressed myself out. And to think that he had an allergic reaction to the antivenom as well. That poor man couldn't catch a break that day.
