Recently recieved my snakewood/snake skin damacus Mnandi from CRK, thanks Heather :) it is an identical copy of the one on CRK website so here is their pics (can't take a picture better than this)

One hand opening is easy, very sheeple friendly, will EDC but no heavy cutting, it will break my heart if I scratch the beautiful finish :o

And then come the sheath from Vess Leatherworks. Vadim did a excellent job and the turn over time is fast  I request rattlesnake skin inlay instead of the toad skin on his website http://www.vessleatherworks.com

Causally show the Mrs and even she like the combo, of course she's smart enought not to ask "how much?" ;) :D

PS will try to figure out how to post thumbnails :o

"Very nice" Mnandi SB. I really like the rattlesnake skin in the sheath, it complements the knife perfectly.

BTW,
To post thumbnails, just scroll down to the "additional options" below the text box, click on "manage attachments", and select photos by clicking "browse". Hope it helps.:D

Thanks everybody  :D

Truly a beautiful design. I love the look of snake wood and it compliments the damascus incredibly well. Congrats on the score.

How long did it take for crk to fill your order for the damascus mnandi? I have one on order too.

Is the Snake skin Damascus as dark as is pictured? Every picture I see of Snake skin Damascus appears to be darker than other Damascus designs. Thanks

The blade is pretty dark in room light, don't know how it compare to other damascus, but I agree with your observation. The snake scales have 2 shade of black, almost look like being glue on  , how do Bertie Rietveld forge it, I wonder  ,however, it look gorgeous in sunlight :D

Would love to handle a spirograph damascus someday, only if CRK reintroduce the Umfaan........
