Finally got a chance to take some pix of the Snakeskin 1911 grips I got from Rat-30. And my FBM came in yesterday, so I had to add it to the pic.

LOOK - I USED A BUSSE KNIFE!!!!!

I wanted to make a comment about Samuel Jackson and some snake on a plane, but figured I would get my ass kicked if I referenced that movie....I never seen it by the way!

I love those old classic Colt 1911's. I have one that was made in the 50's that belonged to my Dad. It shoots very well. Those grips look great on you pistol, Dennis!

I lucked out that Rat-30 had NO buyers and I was doing a Snakeskin search. I was literally apoplectic when I saw them available. That was the most painful 30 seconds of my life thinking that someone else grabbed them while I was typing.

They are hard to get. I did a WTB back in the fall and not one peep. I've seen a set or two of black micarta come up.
