Snakeskin, Tigerhide, and Python Micarta - Oh My!

Two questions for the Old Timers and Hogs:

What's the current status/availability of Snakeskin micarta and Tigerhide micarta?

I recently saw a non-Busse knife with scales of Python micarta that looked a lot like the never-to-be-reproduced beloved Snakeskin. Has the secret been rediscoved/reduplicated?

Snakeskin- gone. mebbe some tiny scraps?
Tigerhide... Well, it was on the TG2014, the SOB comp finish, mebbe a few others recently, so I'd say they got some left, but mebbe not much?

Someone has duplicated the snakeskin, sort of...but as far as I know, he only used it to rehandle one of his CGFBM's years ago.

google search reveals several makers and at least one supplier with Python Micarta. Looks pretty good.

Last time i aske the custom shop about Tigerhide, they had no more, but they had the bright one on this Pork Shank of mine...:thumbup:
