Snakeskin vs Tiger Hide

I currently have a LEBAC w/Snakeskin handles, and looking at some of the pics of the Tigerhide it looks rather similar, pre-oiled at least. Can someone who has both point out the difference to me, or post a pic? Thanks.

The snake skin has yellow below the red, tiger is just red.

The way the scales were cut has much to do with it, and there is a large variation between pieces.

Yeah...was wondering the same thing???:confused:

Bro if you have a LE of anything from the past few years it's Tiger Hide. With the exception of a few LE Meaner Streets, Jerry has put snake skin on a LE in a long time (numbered LE that is).
 
That would explain my confusion then. :) Thanks for the pics, one of these days I'll figure this all out.
