I thought I'd pull out my snakeskin handles and snap a quick pic. As you can see the different handles show the snakeskin colors differently. I personally like the rope cut snakeskin handles the best. (the bottom is green snakeskin)

Thanks for the kind words. All of the knives pictured are variants (one offs) except for the ABLE and the Force One. The 2 you ask about really don't have names except for 9.5" fighters

MD13 and JurT,
Thanks, I'm happy I could post the pics and I hope you enjoy them

:D:D

I just happened to have had my Groovemaster with snakeskin in hand 15 minutes or so before seeing this post. I don't think we've seen that type of snakeskin in a while no? (similar to the ABLE)

I believe you are correct. The ABLE may have been the last to have it, or maybe the original SJ (rope cut pattern)

Looking at this photo and scanning down the page I was like a kid watching a fireworks show..OOOOOO....AHHHHHHH....OOOOOOO.....AHHHHHHH.

Berry bootiful knives...And you say you live where??......LOL

I dont usually like snakes but those are SWEET.

To be completely honest the Snakeskin colors are not my favorite, I like the basic black or tan the best. However, there are some patterns of the snakeskin that I do like. When I have a choice I usually buy black handles, and when I was pulling these out I was somewhat surprised how many snakeskins I have.

T-Bag,
Thanks, I'm glad that you like them

If you have all those snakeskins then I want to see how many black or tan scaled Busses you have;)

Wow--Beautiful knives.
A question about the cuts: Is the cut on the Active Duty the rope cut?
And if so, is it different from the bottom four pics in the middle row?
The texture of the snake seems more pronounced on some than others and I'm just wondering if it's the cut, or the unique grains in the handles?

Thank you.

The handle pattern on the Active Duties are called Raptor Scales, the handle patterns on the Badger, Groovemaster, Killer B(not the cord wrapped style), Public Defender is the rope cut. It gets it's name because it looks like a "rope" layed at an angle across the handle

I hope that helps

:D:D

I scrolled down a bit and thought, "Gee, I ahve almost that many". . .

Then I kept scrolling. ROTFL!!!!!

No. No I don't have almost that many. I have not even HALF that many. That was one LOOOONG pic.
