Snakewoods Anyone???

I just bought another Snakewood Sebenza today. While I wait would anyone like to share pics of theirs?
 
How do you like snakewood....??? I have had the chance to buy annuals, 21's and mnandi alike in this wood over the years, but just never warmed up to it. I have noticed that some of it is really figured, while others are plainer...but thats normal with any wood species.
 
I think you're right on about variations in wood inlays, but that is what make it cool for me. I've seen CRK Honduran Rosewoods that I don't like (very plain) and others that are eye popping gorgeous. Same with the Snakewood. Many of them can be dull and have little figure or not uniform. As a collector, that's what makes it fun for me, finding a unique piece that is different than others. I think the same is true of mammoth. Most are nice but some are special, like many of those I've seen in your collection and others here on BF.

Is the Snakewood I just bought eye popping? Not really, but its the best piece I've seen since Blade and I've been looking since then. It was a fun hunt and now I get to hunt for a Snakewood Mnandi to complete the set.
