Olfa & Tajima are Japanese manufacturers of snap blade utility knives and replacement blades. They make knives and blades in 3/8" 3/4" and 1" blade widths that I know of. In addition to the snap blades which are designed and pre scored to have the dulled blade end snapped off so the rest can continue to be used both companies also offer solid replacement blades which are not pre scored for easy breakage. When fully extended these non snappable blades have about a 4" sharpened blade length.
Any members have experience with the non pre scored solid blades as far as how heavy duty they are? I would presume that there are limitations on such blades just due to their thickness, less than 1mm thick.
