snap button tool

hi all! i was wondering if any of you fellows could point me in the right direction as far as snap buttons and the proper tools to use.
is there a universal tool, or does each size button need a different sized tool? are there homemade options, etc.? i'm new to sheath making, but was wanting to give it a try on a couple axe sheaths.
any help and or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure what a snap button is, but if by chance you mean line 20 and line 24 snaps, then yes there are two different size setting tools, one for 20 and one for 24. I believe they also sell that "universal" set up which has the set up for both sizes as well as other snaps. Check the Tandy/Leather Factory web site.

My local walmart sells snaps and setters they are cheap but good to start out.
