Snares?

I'm looking at snares versus traps. I really know nothing of snares at this point. After stumbling into the Thompson Snares website, my curiosity was piqued.

Is a 1/32nds cable enough to hold more than a rabbit? Would it hold a coyote for example? Or a chicken killing dog? Is the cable light enough to catch small things like adult mice or only large things like rats and rabbits?

How do you set them up for best results? How do you release them? Basically, how do you use them? Any good websites (besides this one), YouTubes, etc.?

TIA,
Sid
