I harvested my honey today. Tomorrow I extract it. I think I will get about 3 gallons not bad for a dry first year with a late start.
 
cool - whattaya going to do with the wax?
I have wax suitable for knife sheaths & waterproofing canvas, but none SWMBO can use to make lip balm....

I wont have much wax. When you start a new hive they have to make all the wax. The only wax that I will harvest is the end caps you cut off. The comb part will be reused by the bees next year. If she just needs a little I can hook you up. I do plan on making some of the spoon butter that is 50% mineral oil 50% bees wax.

Thank you for the concern. Yes. My $158.48 pills have kept me from the grave thus far. And fortunately I had such a shi!tty day that I almost forgot I was sick.:grumpy: don't mean to be Mr. Negative. That's not my normal nature. But everybody has to vent every once and a while and you did ask. But thanks!
