Hi guys,

You may or may not remember what Eric did to my IBBB

Well I had another project for Eric... Last year I got myself a used Bark River Bravo III - It's a monster CPM-3V 0.275" slab with an OAL of 16.9 Inches at 25oz.
I don't know what BR had in mind when they designed the handle. It's very small and down right dangerous as it just want to leave your hand unless secured to your wrist with a cord.
So I asked Eric to fix it... Here's what he came up with... Believe it or not this is the actual new handle on my Bravo III.

TOP: Stock Bravo III - Below, Eric's magic work.

The knife is still at Eric's shop. I can't wait to see it in real.

Wow..that looks like a real improvement. How does it feel in hand now?

Awesome job sno! Love the beaks! He sure does some fine finish work:thumbup: Kinda has that Falcata feel im thinking.

Thanks guys. Last attempt to meet Eric didn't work out. I'm finally getting it back tomorrow and will post more pics and impressions.

The Bravo III is back... And I'm extremely pleased with the result.

It's very comfortable in the hand and so much safer on both ends. The grip will stay where it belongs.

This is how it should have been made in the first place.

Amen to that. The micarta looks WAY better in your pics. That's my second favorite color combo, next to OD/Black. Do you know if it's canvas or linen micarta? Looks like linen to me

If I remember correctly you are right. Linen Micarta.

Freekin beautiful job man! You friend is seriously talented! Does he do your nails too?;)

Any chance you can take a pic of the handle from the bottom so we can see how he did those beaks? He did an AWESOME job!

Lol Based on the pictures, obviously not... He's more meticulous than that.

Joke aside, he's doing a fantastic job... I have one of his knife in the making. I'll report back here in couples of months once it's done.
I'm trying to convince him to sell pieces in the knife maker section. Not sure why he's shy to do so. His work is something to be proud of.
He also could easily double his prices here.

What a smart idea! That handle design will be an excellent help while chopping things. Maybe I should do that with my H.I. Bowie knife. What's his contact info so I can see what his price ranges are.
