Another visit to the Fiddleback HQ. Not as cold as it has been in recent days, but it was a rainy-overcast-people-cant-drive-in-atlanta kind of day.
This will be my last sneak peek for January. Day job calls me away for the next 2 weeks so no sneaky-peekys from me til February.
BTW - I hope yall like Bushcrafter Seniors .. cause it seemed like there's one for each of you getting built this week!
Got a good look at the new Mid-Tech Bushfingers. They're looking good. Pure utilitarian approach and I like the option of two different stock handles.
Looks like the handles will be removable as well .. so maybe an aftermarket maker of scales could happen?
Found Andy running 2 grinders at once, sliding back and forth between them, shaping handles.
Allen styling and profiling blades .. aka making sparks
VANCE aka Phillip doing hand sanding.
Chris drilling handle pin holes in blanks.
Forgot the overhead shot of Knife Caddy #1, but here's some choice ones I pulled from it.
Handle scales with just getting scratched out for pre-profiling them to the blades.
Knife Caddy #2 (some WAS knives mixed in)
Knife Caddy #3 (handle shaping)
So Andy wets the dyed green EDC-II so we can see how the handles will look when finished. BOOYAH!
This bolstered Hunter has a matching Camp Nessie in this batch!
Camp Nessie getting it's shape on!
The stock-piling for Blade Show 2015 is beginning?
So Andy keeps a knife each week for his personal collection.
Here's last week's knife ..
And this week's selection ..
On my way out the door .. I got a Spy Photo of an upcoming Fletcher Knives' Karniboro! BAMF!
