Sneak Peek from Fiddleback HQ 01/13/2015!!

Another visit to the Fiddleback HQ. Not as cold as it has been in recent days, but it was a rainy-overcast-people-cant-drive-in-atlanta kind of day.
This will be my last sneak peek for January. Day job calls me away for the next 2 weeks so no sneaky-peekys from me til February.

BTW - I hope yall like Bushcrafter Seniors .. cause it seemed like there's one for each of you getting built this week!

Got a good look at the new Mid-Tech Bushfingers. They're looking good. Pure utilitarian approach and I like the option of two different stock handles.
Looks like the handles will be removable as well .. so maybe an aftermarket maker of scales could happen?

Found Andy running 2 grinders at once, sliding back and forth between them, shaping handles.

Allen styling and profiling blades .. aka making sparks

Forgot the overhead shot of Knife Caddy #1, but here's some choice ones I pulled from it.
Handle scales with just getting scratched out for pre-profiling them to the blades.

So Andy wets the dyed green EDC-II so we can see how the handles will look when finished. BOOYAH!

This bolstered Hunter has a matching Camp Nessie in this batch!

The stock-piling for Blade Show 2015 is beginning?

There are some real beautiful knives in there, but you need some machete's(only because I want one). That's a real nice batch of knives. There are going to be some happy customers.

I didnt get a picture .. but Chris finished up a batch of both 12" and 16" Machetes. I didnt find out if they were going up on Friday or being sent to Dealers.

Thanks Bud! Another stellar addition to your Sneak Peek contributions. I always find at least one or two or more that peak my interest.

I have a question. At the top of knife caddy#3, are those Runts or Palmers or something else? I am about ready to abandon my pursuit of a Palmer, but maybe I can hang in there one more week if there is one or more in the mix.

Thanks for doing these photo documentaries. In the future, please submit your Sneak Peek vacation request for approval by the Fiddleback faithful before assuming that it is OK to take two weeks off for something as selfish as your primary job responsibilities. .
