Today's Sneak Peek will be on the rather small side. Why? Well, Andy has a trip planned starting in the morning and that really cuts weekly production down. There's still Fiddlebacks coming down the pipe, but without Andy there for handle shaping .. kinda puts a clog in the pipes. Maybe next week we'll see a 60% higher output?!? :)

Disclaimer: The pictures below are some of the knives you may see for sale on Friday and I have zero affect or influence with that.

The 'Crew' hard at it.

Good stuff. That Camp Muk going to Blade show - wow. Great to see more Tangerine burlap, it looks fantastic on a Fiddleback.

Thanks for the pics.

Looks like Ken was right, there are some burlap handled Bushcrafter Jr's coming down the pike.

Thanks as always Bud !

Thanks as always Bud. I appreciate your dedication to do this.

Do you know what kind wood is that orange looking stuff in Caddy #2?

So far, it is looking like the Blade Show knives are almost all wood handles. Beautiful stuff, but still slim Pickens for us burlap and synthetic fans. I hope the next two months include some nice synthetics to balance the mix somewhat.

Thanks,

Phil

Padauk or Bloodwood I would imagine .. same as on that Arete in the last pic from Caddy #1

Thanks for sharing Bud. Is that Monarch Padauk? Is that a 1/8" TT?

It's definitely not Padauk - which is a red color. Looks like Oak maybe, dunno. I believe it was 5/32 - pretty sure SFT, but i only hold them for just a moment.

Wow! What's that? I been lurking in the fiddle back forum awhile, I've seen runts.. It that just a different blade shape? I love that thing!

That's the stubby muk. A newish variation of the nessmuk with a sweet blade shape

I know that stubby is on its way to Blade and i wont be able to make it there. However, one of these days one of those beauties is going to find its way to Texas.

Also, i echo the thanks to Bud for putting these pictures up. i really enjoy the behind the scenes view.

My pleasure Wilsonhome, but if you notice .. there's two of those blue Stubbymuks. One in the caddy #1(which may be listed this Friday) and the other in the blade show caddy. Keep your fingers crossed and get a lucky charm going!

I'm waiting to see more of the Mini Nessmucks! I see one in there. Bring on the Micarta handles!
