Another installment of my semi-regular visitation to Fiddleback HQ. There's 40+ pics here .. which is about half of what I take with my fancy dancy phone and while I try to capture what's a happening or some knives that might be offered this coming Friday - it's ever-changing and I manage to notice something I havent seen before.

The weather is changing here in Georgia and today was heavy thunderstorms .. it's obviously having a depressive/psychotic effect on the Crew.

This is Bamboo's FIRST knife. I was impressed. Think about it. He's a woodworker guy .. so bravo Ken, bravo.

Speaking for Fiddleback Apprentices .. Adam aka Valkyrie Knives completed a couple with WOOD handles! And, boom went the dynamite.
He made these for Family members. I say he needs to make MORE .. can I get a 'yea, come on!!'??

WAS Knives .. an entire heard of Bison's. These big bad dudes are scalding hot!

Curly Q Bison w/double wood. GYSOT!

Now onto Fiddlebacks ..

Let's start with an old skool Fiddleback Bushcrafter shop knife. Get's beat on slapped sideways .. and still keeps kicking.

So, I posted a picture a few days ago of the 'knife pattern' wall. The wall has blade patterns hanging on it.
Most of these patterns are the current models .. but some are older models. Cool to see the evolutions.
These patterns are used for tracing the blade onto the bar stock. Each pattern usually has the name and date it was conceived.

These were not in a Knife Caddy .. so .. not sure what's up with them. Yeah, knives are all over the place. It's a Fiddleback OVERLOAD!

Vance (Phillip) doing some finishing work on the handles. When I left this afternoon, Phillip could barely move his thumbs.

Good job Bud.
I was in suwanee, Georgia visiting my brother two Sunday's ago and we drove through Cummings on our way to sawnee mountain to take his kids hiking. I wish FF had been open to check out their shop. Maybe another time.

That is so cool!!!!! Thanks for the great pics and shop tour Bud!!! I have been trying to learn more about knife making in general. To be able to see into the shop and the fiddleback process is the bomb. I wish I could tour the shop and see all the steps in the process, but this is the next best thing. I recently found a youtube video from Damon that showed some action in the shop that was also very cool to see.

Ken - That knife looks awesome!!!!

Pending what time it was, I was there. I work on my stuff alot of sunday evenings there. Shoot me a pm if you come through again off hours, never know when I will be there, actually just got home from there not to long ago.

Outstanding as always Bud. Thanks for sharing! Loving that BC Karda in PIB.

Yes .. it says Honey Duke. I thought it was a Bushraptor?

Correct, that is actually the Bushraptor. I have always wondered when I am scribing them out why that is written on it and always forget to ask Andy!

And nice job catching Andy in the act of giving me a quick death, lol. Excellent evidence, not that I could use it!lol

Here is what the Stampede looks like now, close to finished, coming to a thread near you soon!

The Stampede, I like the way that sounds. There might have to be another Bison coming home with me.

Also, tell Adam - yea, come on!!! Like seeing the naturals on the Valkyrie brand.

Preston

Thanks Bud for the tour again, what an excellent batch of Andy's knives to make us drool.
Adam, wood suits your knives well. Kudos.
Ken, that is a wonderful batch of knives and the Tiger Shark spalting outstanding.

Mick

These threads are truly wonderful!

That Bison-Muk (?) looks amazing Allen, does it have a different name?

Great pics Bud, especially the handle WIPs.
