Awesome pics bud! Is that a three finger joe I see. SWEEEEEEEET! Going to have to be on the ball Friday.

Great pics once again Bud!

Is that a whole mess of stainless in caddy #3 or just fiddle textured 01?

Ya know Tod .. I didnt really pay that much attention to the details.
Except maybe that EDC-II might be CPM, but I already have a BEB EDC-II so I'm not a player on this one.
Here's a close up of a couple from that Caddy. I do remember a lot of them being African Blackwood.

Thanks Bud. Always my favorite thread of the week.

I especially like the tang views that show TT vs. SFT and liner colors since these features are frequently hard to determine on Fotki photos on Fridays.

Good stuff!

Phil

Awesome pics, thanks again for sharing

Thanks!
I've got a matching karda too

Thankfully Allen took over after 2 drill bits and I thought I broken my finger

 I've always thought that was a Bushboot when coming across your pictures, or is there a matching Bushboot as well perhaps..?

bonfide - thanks for the pics.

I was able to go back to previous week's thread and spot the knife I bought in the last Friday shark fest (my first Fiddleback).
Its great to be able to see what it looked like as it was being put together :)

Very cool. That's one of the reasons I like posting the pics. You might get to see the birth if your knife!!

What does the blue ink on the tips of the blades signify?

In this case Andy took those particular blades to a higher finish than the others before glue up. The blue tip was to remind him which ones already had that step done so he didn't do it again. It is just diluted lay out fluid, comes right off with acetone.

I thought it had a purpose.

Bud,
Thanks again for all of the great pics & insight! No lie, there's probably half a dozen or so knives in this sneak peek that will have my attention this/next Friday!
