New week and new batches are starting to come together. Less so than say my usual visits on Tuesday - but you can still get an idea of what's coming at the end of the tunnel. I also got to see (no pics) all of the Thanksgiving week selection .. WOW WOW WOW. Think about all of those super cool Fiddlebacks from my previous sneak peeks that havent shown up on your radar .. yeah, they're coming during the Thanksgiving and Christmas work week exodus. A few I remember were Ironwood & Burl wood Runts, a 2finger Joe, a out of this world blue burl tapered tang Esquire .. and a few bigger bolstered beauties.

BTW .. it was 35 deg today in Cumming, Ga. The shop keeps the roll up door open and there's no heater.

Some double bolstered goodness getting glued up. These were huge .. like Camp Knife huge.

Looks to be a CPM154 KPH. Maybe 3 SS of these have been made so far?

That's a Scandi grind! There were a couple different models getting a scandi grind in this caddy.

And that's all I got. It was a quick trip and chat this time.

Great Goggly Moogly
Wow
Thank you my friend can't wait to see what the holidays bring:D

As always Bud, thanks for providing us with a glimpse of the not too distant future. It takes time and effort to create a post like this, and it is very much appreciated. What kind of handle material is going on that Carver ?

I enjoy sharing the pics Pete. That Carver looked like it was getting Curly Oak handles.

Awesome post Bud. It lets me see what's going on there on Mondays, and lets me know my next trip down needs to be on a Tuesday most likely, in order to capture the other shots I need. Thank you for that :)

Tuesday afternoon/Weds early seems like the crew normally puts a Caddy at 80-90%, another one getting their handles shaped, and the 3rd getting handles 'glued up' in the late afternoon. I'm sure the upcoming Holiday Season, cold weather, etc might push that around a bit. Still amazing to me personally how many HIGH QUALITY hand made knives they're able to make week after week. Crazy talent and serious hard work.

Thanks for doing these threads Bud. That Nessmuk is something to see for sure. But that Tux Woodsman might take the prize this week. Micarta is underrated.
