Well guys with The Blade Show just months away the extremely talented Mr Diskin is hard at work trying to get enough of the very successful DISKIN USA Flippers done so that he has enough to get thru the first day :)

Well here's a little sneak peek of the much anticipated new DA Auto that will be replacing the much loved FIRE

For those of you in the know .....the Fire has earned an admirable reputation and a very strong following

With the new knife ........ So new we are not even sure of the name.......Matt has tried to really do something new and different with out falling away from the bullet proof reliability and perfect function of the original FIRE

One thing will be for sure .......they will function perfectly and this new DA has an aggressive blade profile that is really gonna set it apart

I'll keep you all posted :)

Btw those are Flipper Frames in the back ground

Diskin Flame!

I am looking forward to seeing one all together put I know they are going to be sweet

That's a nicely grippy tanto from the sneak peek. Me likes.

First dibs on displaying it!!! ;)

Coop

PS: what the heck is that in the background. A dull, broken drill bit, or a leftover licorice Twizzler®.

Looking forward to seeing this new iteration. Wondering if Matt will be offering filler tabs for the empty space in his flippers ;)

I believe he will :)

little maintenance tip for Fire owners;

if the scale release switch is hard to engage, it's probably full of lint and stuff, so what I did with mine is wash it, fully submerged with dishsoap and then blow it out with a compressor. I blew the grease out as well, and relubed with Triflow. Works better than new!

A ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure :)

Good tips on maintenance Lorien

The compressor is key you want to remove all water from any DA

not that it matters too much since it's all titanium! Not sure about the bearings though, I assume they're stainless steel?
