Looking at the pics of the SNG- AMASING. But......

Will I be able to get one left handed (possibly special order) and if so where from? The problem I have is I live in ENGLAND (but don't hold that against me:D ) and its so hard to get anything I see on the internet over here (customs wise).

Custom Pieces Take Time.... Even at the consideration stage. Although due to the nature of the SnG it may not be possible. If they can; Mick and Duane will do the job, but it may take a long while... Kinda like waiting for molassis to flow in the south pole.

Although after taking a closer look at Shelby's pix all you really need to do is move the spring clip to the other side... it seems to be set up for that all ready... just a thought.

Brandon,
I just went and looked at the pictures again. The holes do not line up. There is an exrta pin, on the ti side.

Yeah I saw that but with some small drilling they could just flip it over .... dont know how it would feel in the hand but ya never know...

SMAT, just for grins, you might want to try a right handed Sebenza, to see if you might like a right handed SnG...

I see from your profile that your favorite knife is a left handed Sebenza. My current favorite is a right handed (BG-42) Sebenza with double thumblugs and beadblasted screws. However, as I'm reasonably ambidextrous with knives, I actually can open my Sebenza faster with my left hand, and close it fairly well. I even thought about buying a S30V left handed Sebenza for a while. That is, until I developed a craving for an AR...

L.O.Little:
You are right. I've owned many right handed folders and I can draw, open and close them with my left hand just as quick as my Left handed sebenzas' ( I've just reciceved a small with swedge, double thumb lugs etc.) but there is just something about owning a knife specifically made for left handed use. :D I can't explain it.
Cheers for the info guys.

Ooooooohhhhhhhh but it's a bitter pill to swallow.
I want.
I'll wait.

Alohaz,
wabi

MICK:
Do you mean your going to make them to order or just make them regardless. Either way, I'M THERE!!! :D ;) :p
Could I order it from my local dealer (GERMANY:p ) or does it have to be direct from you?

SMAT,
are we thinking of the same German Strider dealer??? Uli Zerdick at www.zerdick.com ?? I'm also desperately waiting on Strider's next shipment to Germany to get my hands on a GB and a EBLT (or maybe BT, whatever is available).
Anyway, we should start a European interest group to try to represent our interests better (that means getting more Strider knives faster:D :D )

J.Vervoorst:
We are thinking of the same dealer. I Haven't ordered anything from them yet, Have you? if so what are they like?
But thats a superb idea about the interest group. Anything to speed those STRIDERS to me is a great idea. We need a dealer in the U.K. though,
Hey MICK if you want I'll set up as a dealer, But you'd better send me some samples just to make sure it'll work. Heck I'm such a nice guy I'd even take one those SNG's (left handed of course) off you, purely in the interest of business you understand. HE HE HE HE:D ;) :)

Well your sure nice.
We will be making them, no need to special order.
We actually have a shipment going out to Europe soon. Not of left handed Sng's...:)

Thanks for the kind words

A German knife group sounds great.

Thanks again

Mick

SMAT, same for me. I am waiting for my first order so I can't really tell you much. All I know is that his prices are really good ($368 for a S30V flat ground GB, which after all was imported to Germany which usually adds considerable cost) and he is a really great guy to work out that order with.
The easiest solution for long waits is to increase output (in this case the exports to Europe). I absolutely believe that there is a huge market in Germany (and the rest of Europe of course). From what I hear from Uli Zerdick most of his batch has been pre-ordered for a while. I was lucky to get a GB and maybe an EB-LT. And after that it will probably be a long wait again.:grumpy:
One idea would be a "foreign continent theme day" at Strider. One complete day of grinding and knife-making SOLELY for Germany/UK/Europe. :D How does that sound, Mick? We will thank you by being loyal costumers.
What exactly did you mean by that "German knife group"?

Mick,

Have you come to a price on the SnG yet? HOW MUCH???? My god maybe if I sell a kidney....Hmm will have to get back to you... No just kidding no kidneys for sale...well at least not mine... J/K I am out of strange dialogue now...LOL
