And is a great way to meet girls.:)
I was in the university library and this rather cute Chinese girl was looking for a staple remover (I was near the stapler).
I at first directed her to the tech guy at the desk, but apparently they do not have a staple remover.
Enter the amazing DGG digi-cam SnG.
I offered to use my amazing skill to remove the offending staples, an offer which was graciously accepted.
She was quite pleased at having the evil staples vanquished, and was able to get on with the day.

So, not only do knives make good tools, they're also a handy way to meet girls.
Of course, I'm married, so I cannot exploit this new-found wisdom which I pass on to all of you.

Go knives!!!

Hmm, normally I'd be afraid of doing that for fear of sheep(those fluffy cuddly things are mighty scary:thumbup:). But perhaps a nice bright orange scaled XM-18 would be safe;).

I think alot has to do with why one is pulling the knife and how.
I pulled it out and showed it to her closed first, and offered to get the staples out, rather than doing a cart-wheel and flicking it open like a ninja wannabe lunatic.:)

An orange scale would likely help as well.

Well, I used to work in retail (Nordstroms, designers) and a girl asked me if I had a scissor to cut off a string. I didn't but told her I had a knife, and it was sort of big. She didn't mind so I handed it to her (BM 710), she flipped that knife open like a champ, cut the string and handed it back to me. Cute thing was, when she opened my knife, she said "Wow, that is big." I refrained any comments... :)

a lot of my white girlfriends over the years have actually kind of gotten into knives. my asian girls not so much. the koreans seem terrified, but the japanese, chinese and vietnamese don't appear to have a problem. but the vietnamese aren't really afraid of anything non-supernatural anyway.

I didnt realize Genghis Khan trolled BF since hes the only person I could possibly think of that could have met enough asian women to make such a wide generalization on them and their views on knives... FYI I'm korean and I think I've met more korean females than you have and none of them are "terrified" of knives like you describe. I'm sure you meet tons of asian women in Oklahoma bro.

Whoa calm down man. I'm Korean too and from what I've seen, he is sort of right. My last girlfriend was Caucasian and she loved knives (well, more so than most girls). Anyway, last time I went to a Korean BBQ, I brought out my knife to cut some meat, and most of the Asian girls were like, " Whoa. You gonna shank someone?"

I just rolled my eyes.

I am calm just trolling, thought it was really funny when he started comparing like he knows whats up. LOL. Speaking of bbq, mmmmm galbi .

Similar situation happened to me today. I was working the desk in my dorm (I'm a RA) and a young resident came up and needed her spare key. Upon standing, she saw my RAT3 strapped to my hip and exclaimed "Is that a knife?!?" Now, I don't normally strut around with a fixed blade on my hip but it came it yesterday and I can't seem to put it down. On OSU's campus, most people are at least moderately tolerant of knives but occasionally you get the uber "oh my goodness he HAS A WEAPON! WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE!" chicken little character. I turned to face the cute girl and said "yep, ontario rat 3, just got it yesterday :) " Her eye's fixed on it* (*the knife, calm down boys) she said "Can I see it?" I was thrilled that this cute girl wanted to fiddle with my knife. I explained what the phosphate coating was for and we talked about camping for a short while. Needless to say, I have been very pleased with my RAT3 thus far :)

Oh, I mean, I met them when I lived in Vietnam and lived with Koreans in America (and still do live with Koreans). But by all means, do assume that because I recently moved to Oklahoma that I'm white and clueless.

They should carry a SnG.
I wasn't attacked by a single ghost, werewolf, vampire, or dragon today.:)

Lol, yes, I was struck by this quite frequently living in Vietnam. I could race my little Honda Future motorcycle with a young girl on the back and she wouldn't blink but just the mention of the "hungry ghost" or something would cause them not to be able to sleep at night. "My" family's father, a famous international businessman, actually slept with the lights on for fear of the ghosts.

AHAHAHAHAH well played . Do me a favor and keep that location lol.
