  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

I recently got to handle a Strider SMF recently. It's a lot lighter than I thought, but not nearly as big. It's shorter than my EDC, a Spyderco Military. I did notice that it was thicker though. I'm curious about one thing though, how does the SMF compare in size with the SNG? Are they the same thickness? How much shorter is the SNG than the SMF when closed?

One final question. For those that have both knives, do you find the SMF more useful? Is it worth the extra $75?

I personally like the size of the SMF more but I carry a SnG most days at the office so as not to scare the sheeple. As much.;) I thought I had a comparrison pic for ya but I can't find any right now.:( Check out the Strider Faq here for more info.
