After all the pictures, specs, posts, wishing, waiting and hoping, they are here. The actual knife is 10 to the 99th power more amazing than the awesome pictures we have relied on.
The knife is so secure in the hand in a number of grips. It has traction "built" in to it. The lock up is second to none...swift, secure and rigid. The knife is a great size for suit or less "formal" carry. It is VERY light. Normally, we equate light with weak...not here...Milled and drilled G10 laminate..parts of which are 3/8" thick joined to a Ti. slab almost 1/8" thick with big beefy screws and the pivot pin/ bearing set up makes this knife very rigid and un-bendy. No blade play...hear me? no blade play in any plane. Symmetrical grind lines and edge bevels. The edge has a nice high shoulder and is wicked sharp. The knife just damn works. It is more than the sum of its parts, though.
You can appreciate the thought that went into the design and construction.
But, it is also a bit of artistry...The G10 has traction dimples drilled into it, my G10 is black and the dimples are greenish...very slick. The dimples on the Ti. side have colors from purple to yellow/gold... Holy Moley.
This knife is the embodiment of integrity, thoughtfulness and anal attention to details that I am just discovering.
Nice work Boys.
