Mick,
Being a long-time Sebenza toting fanatic I had given up on finding a knife that I would consider switching over to for daily carry... until now. The SnG is tugging at me pretty hard!
There is only one thing about the SnG that is nagging at me, and that is the G-10 side. I dont dislike G-10, I just like Ti better and dont mind a weight penalty. My reasoning is that even though G-10 is very light and strong, it tends to wear-polish and become a bit slippery in my dry and crusty hands.
So, the question is: Do you foresee the SnG being made with dual Ti slabs in the future? Maybe even as a "custom" and priced accordingly?
I'm in no rush, got the trusty Seb in the meantime :)

(edited for typo)

Dashunde2, I think there are others out here with the same thoughts (at least I am one of those like you). However, the SnG is definitely not another "me too" knife; it's a design that is way out front at the leading edge of "function before form" knife development.

I will withhold judgement on the G-10 slab until I hold the SnG in my own two hands. The only aspect of the Sng design that I have concern for is the first thumb groove cut into the handles nearest the blade stop pins--it seems to have created a "little ear" at the top corner which could be a weak point. Perhaps that first groove could have been eliminated. Stop me, I'm beginning to nitpick--duh, I know I'm going to like it anyway. :D

Mick said in an earlier post that an all Ti handle could be made. But there are 2 buts:

1) The Strider guys wouldn't make it with one G-10 side if it weren't for a good reason. Do check it out first if you can before decifing the g-10 isn't for you.

2) Given the demand for the SnG and their opther projects, a custom SnG could be done but it would be quite a long time before it could be made.
