Hello,
Does anyone out there know where I can find out more about Larry Griffin's "Sniper" and the knives made by Kouli Hara? Thanks.

I'm guessing you mean Koji Hara

. To my knowledge he doesn't have a website, but you can see examples of his work at

[*]AZCK(including a really cool friction folder)
[*]KnifeArta good sampling of his work, from the simple fixed blade to some of the abalone inlay folders
[*] An airstep fighter I'm not sure how to search this site, but I know there are some more Hara's out there
[*]Knife Shop the Edge if you can read japanese, still some good pictures and the yen is pretty weak now

hello - i have one of lynn griffith's "snipers". it is a very handy knife that i usually carry as a neck knife. with the kydex setup, it also works well in the small-of-back carry. i also sometimes carry it in slip sheath mode. i used to carry it a lot, i don't really carry it at all anymore. if you want any more info, feel free to email me.

Hello Marco,
Thanks for answering. These knives were mentioned in the most recent Tack Knives magazine, where they are both shown. The Hara was shown, but the information was edited out due to space restrictions. TK told me they made the decision because the Hara was to hard to find in the US, so why talk about a knife you can't buy. The Sniper should be easier to find. Can you tell me where you bought yours? Thank you.

Amacks,

You forgot to mention that the only Damascus Hara for sale in the World is on the:
www.robertsoncustomcutlery.com site.

I gave the Damscus to Koji at the North Carolina Guild Show last year. It is from Mike Norris. Koji made 4 folders from the steel.

Excellent maker.

Les, I forgot about the damascus Hara. I looked on your site in the other catagories, but never thought to check the Damascus. Honestly, I don't like that one as much as his other work, the inlay looks sort of garish, although that might be the picture.

Out of curiosity, will you be carrying the Hara-Elishewitz collaboration?

Aaron,

I will have the Hara/Elishewitz collaboration as well as his new fixed blades.
