43 eh?

Yes, Sniperboy is, in fact, very gifted in the art of the pen! And at finding those Bali's! :)

I've got some of that artwork.........It's worth getting something from S. just to get a taste of the ink! I should posess 1/10th the talent.........:(

Ditto, I'd always wondered, and assumed that the artwork was that of Johnny Holiday aka Sniperboy. It's very much at a professional level, and something that would be most marketable, if so desired. Very nice Sniperboy.
Balisong content, hmm--the Monarch flies this week.

Yes...the "Sniping-Person" is REALLY talented! Geeesh..I've only got tinnnnnie little sketches :( ...., but now will [BEG] for more!!

Enjoy your 43  ...nice knife!

.....and yes "S." ~~> "Even prostitutes are free to [Dream]" ;)

Wow, Gary, that sketch really does resemble you...
if you shaved your beard, grew some hair, and had a chin job...

Oh well, a great sketch anyway.

Sniperboy is certainly a very creative tallent.

Here is my challenge for you: you've met many of us at shows, talked to many by phone, and just plain got to know us on the forum. So, now your task is to sketch some of us. You could either do individuals or do one big "group shot." Then, put the picture(s) up without comment as to who's who and we'll all have to vote.

aw man.. :p
well one things for sure.. this will keep me out of trouble for a while.. :) dont hold your breath but it'll be a challenge for sure.

Hey S,
If you make a sketch of me be sure to take a few pounds off for me :)
BTW, K was disappointed we didn't get a sketch with the RK tapes, you're slippin in your old age :p

Just to put a little Balisong action into this thread, here's an uncompleted scan S did for me a while ago. The finished product is far too bad-ass for any scanner to handle ;)

You truly have some crazy talent S. And here's my vote for the group portrait. :D

I've got a couple of Snipe's schetchs too... even after getting them along time ago. They are something I'll hang on too...

Super nice JOB !!!!

Lew

I have one of Snipe's small sketches... I'd like to see a group sketch :)

I've been after Snipe to get a full time job as an artiste.... it is much cooler to be a starving artist than a wealthy engineer :) (Although I don't think SB would starve as an artist :D)

Alan

If the time is available for you I definately vote for a group portrait. It would take some time get us all in there, but I'd sure like to see your attempt to capture us all.

damn.. I'm a glutton for attention :p thanks for the compliments... will work on it.

what can I say though.. I sold out and became an engineer cause I have to pay for all of my toys :p.. oh well I will draw as a living once I win the lottery or patent some computer interfaced voice transmitted media (cough cough) or become a national hero :)

SB,

Considering this fourm spans the world... you are indeed a World Hero :D (but I don't know the pay scale for World Hero right off hand...).

Doubt that it was to be a portrait of me, though thanks for the compliments! always welcome!

I've got a good start on the above, I did shave my beard/mustache and wish I had kept that to paste on top! Chin job...well my chin is fine thank you very much, just couldn't be seen is all, as of right now I'm down about 38 pounds and a much trimmer fellow to be sure, but nothing like the person in the nice sketch!
;)
