Hey!

Anyone of You saw that coming?
KA-BAR Snody Administrator

The KA-BAR Snody Administrator is a no-nonsense skeleton knife that can be worn as a neck knife or concealed in a pocket or pack.
Made of stainless steel, the Administrator is 5.125" long and features a 2" blade.
Comes with a hard plastic sheath and KA-BAR's limited lifetime warranty.

It's out of 5CR15 Stainless Steel at 57-59CR, which looks alright,
but (You not going to like it) it's made in China.

I like the looks of it, but I'd rather have the Remora since this is made in China.. Hopefully it's just a test run like the China Remora's.

Yes, I saw that coming.

I'm sure KA-BAR wouldn't put their name on something if it didn't meet their standards and criteria.

I'm sure this little blade will be a nice addition to the line up.

OKB, do you know if it will fit in the front pocket of the Polyester sheaths?

Is that suppose to be a $ in the handle?
Neck knife for the wealthy executive hahahah
Guess its for Snoddy. It's alright I guess, if your into the Snoddy line. I like the drop point blade design. Having medium/large hands I do dig the smaller blades.

The dollar sign is kinda his mark I think.

So has anyone used this knife or does anyone have some review worthy feedback, or does everyone dislike it on principle? 😉

Only KA BAR Snody I have any experience with is the #5102 - Big Boss. Its awesome!

If I ever see one of these Administrator's in store I'll pick it up and do a review.

Which reminds me... I still haven't done one on my 5102.

I think it would be a handy little blade to put in a survival tin as a last resort style blade. But at close to the same OA length of a Candiru it might not be everyone's choice. The xCRyMOV steels are very popular Chinese steels. And whilst I can't give a true indication of their HT methods of the finished steel I do know for a fact that their ore comes from my country. And we're awesome..

I don't think I would call recycled washers and dryers, "ore" but you go ahead brother. :D There are so many metals mixed into xCRyMOV that its a no brainer they can't get the HT right.

Hahaha! 😂 Tom you're a funny guy! Recycled washers and dryers! Thats hilarious! Seems they must keep their 'best' steel for construction then. Which is derived from ore from Aus. TBH I genuinely thought they would use our ore to make them but again, TBH, I believe you Tommo. Man, I can't stop laughing!
