Hey folks!
I just got an e-mail from Mike S., and he sent me some pictures of my completed bolstered Retaliator! It's being professionally photographed, and then shipped to me. These are just pictures of printed pictures, so please excuse the poor resolution. The actual photos are top notch!
This is the first folder to incorporate some new features. One, the thumbstuds are Mike's newest design. They are slightly longer and more cone shaped. This allows for excellent thumb purchase, without the need of a scallop on the side of the bolster. Second, there are new backspacers in this one. I'm not sure what they look like yet, I think it's going to be kept a secret until I get it. The blade has his new logo, and the pocket clip has changed, more Spyderco-like.
Now the stats: green canvas micarta scales, Ti bolsters, .083 thick Ti liners, S30V blade. Mike told me this folder also features his newest method of sharpening. I've never met a Snody knife that was anything other that razor sharp, but he states this edge is much more aggresive.
Thanks for looking!
