Hey Laurence,
Yes it is a hollow chisel grind. I really like this Norris steel too.
Its clean, grinds good and takes an incredible edge.

Mike Snody
btw that cleaver on your site is very cool. You should put that thing in a kydex or leather sheath.

look at me! look at me!! actually dont look at me.. look at that pic up there cause that's my knife =D yaay yaay!! and did i mention YAAY!?

Mr. MIke ALWAYS comes up with new innovating stuff that leaves the rest in the dust before I can get over the last big thing and his new gargoyle skin ambrosia sheaths are tstament to that.. It's smooth and elegant.. and leather laminate mag sheaths are just a revolution.

My only suggestion woudl be to make the sheaths thinner if possible but you aint hearing any complaints from me.

now yes - y'inz stop buggin Mr. MIke so he can do my narita, and overlord compact, and kozuka and.. and...

my personal fave is still my first jap(n) tac big kozuka and I am happy to see it in damascus form.. it was definitely one of the best highlights of the blade show.. and the amount of love and work Mr. Mike put in my knife and sheath always brings a tear to my eye when I think about it.

Thanks again for a splendid knife Mr. MIke - it's got spirit and it shows.

Hey Mike ,

Thanks for the TEK LOKS . The blade is great ! Holds an edge and cuts like a house a fire . Hope you're getting at least 2 or 3 hours sleep now . Even in open carry the average joe has a hard time figuring out what the knife is ( not a lot of people have seen wrapped handles or knife sheaths that don't look like knife sheaths )

Sniperboy , you are right on the mark . Mike constantly improves or comes up with something new . It's about time we had a custom maker in this genre that strived to meet the customers needs . Mike is a pleasure to work with . I made so many changes to my Bushido order I'm amazed he has any hair left .

Regards ,

Jerry Shipman
