hi all
i have a mint snody damascus bushido tanto, they are $500
at snodyknives but they are not taking any orders any more so
does this mean my knifeis worth more than $500 at the moment?
how does one value there knives accuratly?

Knives are worth what people are willing to pay for them. I'm not sure if Mike's knives are as in demand as they were a little while ago, but I would imagine they are. Not sure if you could get more for the knife than you paid for it, but the value shouldn't have gone down much if any.

Snody's collaborations with Spyderco and Benchmade may have relieved some of the demand pressure for his knives. At one time, I considered paying big bux for a custom Ronin, but I wouldn't do it now that I can get the Spyderco version for $100 - of course, I'm not really a collector so the custom version isn't that much more desireable to me than a high-quality production replica.

Because Snody's customs are in such short supply, they don't change hands very often and it's hard to tell what "the going rate" is.
