Snody Not Taking New orders

Just visited Snody's site & he posted a message on 3/18 that he is no longer taking any new orders. His backlog is over 1 year. I'm glad I placed an order with him a few weeks ago. Mike is getting too popular. Check out the new Ronin.

I guess I am lucky to have an order in with Mike right now as well. It is a shame though, because I was hoping to be able to order another knife soon. Oh well, I guess that it was inevitable. This guy was to good to not have this happen.

I just put an order in a few weeks back. I am lucky enough that I live just about 15 miles from Mike. One day I'll get to go visit him and talk knives (when he gets time). He is a very busy man. I can't wait to get my first Snody knife.

My order was placed the day the site went up. A Warlord and 8 inch Narita.THose will be numbers 3 and 4 but should have a overlord fighter by then also.

I was lucky enough to purchase a second Mike Snody just last night from Triple Aught, due to, and with much thanks to a heads-up from a fellow forumite.

Really wish I would have bought that Overlord when I had the chance!

Good for him! Some makers just keep accepting more and more orders nowadays putting them further and further behind. It also makes it hell when you get a defective knife and they can't repair it because they're "too busy".

I have the worst luck with custom knives. Emerson retired like a week before I was going to place an order for a couple from him. Now Snody (I was literally going to order a Siberian Fighter when I saw his announcement on the site). I don't think you can beat his prices for what you get.

I read that Ryan isn't taking orders now, and Aaron Harris at Smoking Hole has just vanished. I think there was one other I was looking at, but can't remember. I FINALLY have some money for customs and no one wants to take it! Oh well, another box of Pampers it is...
