Snody or Seal Pup?

What do you use it for (range of activities/materials, chopping, batoning)? The Snody has the better steel (assuming good heat treat ).
Nothing wrong with doing something good for your son. For tougher use (though certainly more corrosion-susceptible) at a good price, consider some of the line from Ranger Knives. http://www.rangerknives.com/

I'll be honest here,I don't really need another knife at all!
Doesn't this apply to nearly everone here?I have tougher knives in D2,I have bigger knives and I have smaller knives. It's just that I held a Seal Pup Elite the other day and really liked the look and feel of the blade.I just wondered what peoples thoughts were when comparing the two?

Also- make sure you handle the regular Seal Pup- I (and several others) think it feels better than the Elite. YMMV
