I saw the Overlord Fighter on the Snody Knives website and it seemed to be calling my name. Anyone have any thoughts on that beauty?

I have not owned one of these knves, but have owned two and still have one of Mike's knives. They are incredibly well made. The Overlord is a martial arts design that looks great to me.

The problem you will have is actually finding one to buy. Mike is not taking orders and his knives are not easy to get from the dealers. They seem to sell as fast as they come in. Good to see this happening, as Mike is a great guy.

Me too!! Just acquired my first Snody recently (Thanks Keith!) and the Overlord is definitely on the wish list. Hopefully I'll get to at least fondle one at Blade. Seems like TAD was taking pre-orders at one time for an Overlord set with a trainer included.

The Overlord is an awesome EDC. I had JSP make me a static-cord rig for mine cause I hated the sheath it came with...heh. Also, on mine the skull crusher was radiused because the standard one is a tad pointy for extended carry. Hope you enjoy the pic...:D

I got to play with Attila's Overlord at the recent ECCKS. It is an awesome piece & definitely on my wish list. IMO, modifying the skull crusher is a good idea, particularly if you will be carrying it where forearms & other body parts might make incidental contact.

COOL! I like the radiused "temple tapper", especially since I kinda unconsciously cap the end with my thumb in reverse grip. Thanks for the pic!

My pleasure. Glad you like it! Mike does GREAT work!!! I'm bouncing off walls in anticipation waiting for my special flamed Eroder... now that is MEAN!

I have seen Mike's work a last year's Blade Show and can only say good things about it, as well as about the maker!

Anklepocket - Snody's Overlord is bad to the bone! All of Mike's designs are excellent! Mike and Michelle are the coolest people to meet to. Michelle has a killer personality and Mike makes killer knives. ;) The Overlord on their site may be calling your name but it was calling mine first so watch out! I hear that Sniperboy is the one to tackle at Blade for a Snody Knife. I'm getting a posse together to make sure I dont leave that show without a Snody!:D

I have five of Mike's blades - including the Overlord - they are all so well crafted, wrapped, and yeah, way, WAY sharp. Gotta watch yourself handling them.

While all my interaction with the Snody's has been through email, customer service has always, and consistently been top-flight.

I have to second that Kwaiken. Dealing with the Snody's is a pleaure, even when being told there is nothing available for me at this time!:p

Darn Chefget,That knife is beautiful! Anklepocket, You can not go wrong with a Snody knife. It will hold up in comparison to just about anything from the masters when you are comparing the quality, style and execution side by side. It is amazing the skill Snody possesses for being new.

Mike and Michelle are also very interesting people to meet.
