Quite randomly, did you know these are beautifully balanced axes that throw awesome? I didn't at all, until yesterday while I was clearing brush and decided to take a break. They spin once per 4 feet roughly, and take a bit of wrist, but I got it to stick in pine tree easy, and when I missed (didn't get it to stick) it always hit blade first! And I have little to near axe throwing experience, just the bare basics, and those with tomahawks.

For the record, the pine tree was being cut down very soon, so I figured it wouldn't hurt the tree.

a couple of tips: first, grab the top edge of your blade with your non-dominant hand. then grasp the handle directly below where your elbow rests. take six normal steps from your target and draw a line in front of you with your foot. step behind the line and throw overhand directly at your target, don't curve it like a baseball. also, take a step forward as you throw. Don't flick your wrist, either. your goal is to make one full revolution before it hits. one last thing, never compensate for dropping, as you have a high-mass object going fast for a relatively low distance. the reason you got one revolution per 4 feet was probably because you were flicking your wrist.

Woah. I forgot I posted this. But awesome! Ty for the tips. They'll come in handy this spring when I build a range. Ty.
