Snow boot info wanted

I was thinking of getting a nice pair of snow boots .. I like the kind that lace up and look like hiking boots .. Could anyone recommend a good snow boot or even a few good brands would help ... Looking to spend under 200 !

Check out the Baffin Expedition Boots. Canadian made, so your money isn't going to China or Hong Kong and they are very high quality. I got a pair last year, and they perform great. I believe they were $125-$130 locally, and that's how you want to buy them. You need to make sure they fit right and what not... Every boot style fits different feet different.
 
I was looking at the Sorel on e bay ... I dont care for any of the ones I seen on there /:(

Yeah I bought a pair of merrell boots on ebay .. Got size 8 my size and I like swim in them ... Kinda sucks cause I like them !
 
Sorels or LaCrosse, Buy the right one and your feet will stay warm no matter what. I have a pair of cariboos that i have worn since college, bought in 1979. maybe 8 winters or so of working outdoors all winter in minnesota plus just the normal every day wear once i got a better job.

I recently bought a new pair that are rated to 100 below. last winter ice fishing i spent three nights out on the ice all night in sub zero weather and I never once thought about cold feet.

What kind of rating do you need ???

Just EDC boots or hunting boots ??

Theres Alot of Boots out there...

Personally I need Hunting boots,, so I'm looking at a -130-150 rating...
Sitting in a tree stand in December you need some Extreme Shitz!!

For EDC,, I'd look at Irish Setter, LaCrosse, Cabeles brand
