Yesterday was nice in Georgia. A light windbreaker was plenty, but in New York? Brrrrr! I read that people's front doors are buried and some are having to enter and leave their homes by WALKING through upstairs windows!! Don't need a ladder to get there.

To our northern bretheren, "We have relaxed our entrance requirements. Y'all are welcome to move South!" :D

The sun is shining and weather is in the high 50s.

Watch the snow on your TVs like we do. Snow looks better on TV.

You hear?

real men dont let a few fet of snow stop us-

besides if you get snowed in with your woman it aint all that bad -well at least till she starts jawing and wont sut up and you cant get away-

So we're free to wear shoes and speak proper english?:p  ;) :D

JUST TEASING!!!:foot:

Sure wish we could get some snow. Only 5 inches on the ground, and fire season is looming, and it could be one of the worst ones coming up due to lack of precipitation.

Sadly, because of a lack of snow frost has penetrated to such a depth that many people are now hauling water in buckets because the wells are feezing up or simply drying up due to the drought.

Send us 6 feet, but I would rather have more.

Sad to say the New Yorkers can't get their snow to you. They are hauling it from downtown to outside the city limits in dump trucks.

Just when we decide that we are the dominant force on the planet Mother Nature rolls a bowling ball down our alley! She can be very humbling to us humans. :o

Maybe we should treat her better? :)

were upstaters not new yorkers-those are city folk-lol

snow gets hauled out every year not just this one-

the biggest bitch is when its so cold the salt wont work, the roads become what i call "pig grease"-not fun

It's 20 degrees here, snow thick on the ground, I've burned through 2 cords of wood and have run out. I hate it when that happens.

It's only 72* with thick clouds here:D We're supposed to get a few drops this week. Hopefully gone by Friday. I'm hosting a family reunion and the northern gang is hoping to thaw out for a few days:D

its cold as hell out right now-i just filled the whirlpool tub and will get a nice relaxing soak-

i doubt it would be as enjoyable if it was warm out-i never take whirlpools in the summer its just not as nice-

Wow Munk,

Hope that you have some other kind of heat!

Bill

...now you mention it, I was considering burning some of the wild turkeys out front... but mostly we burn propane, run a little electric heat. Next good day I don't have the flu I'll cut some more wood.
