We just got back from Joliet, had to go to the county clerk to get a copy of our marriage license, and it`s snowing!!! It looks like the Michigan Gathering took place just in time

we had a super hard frost last night and they are talking light snow tomorrow. I think the farmers almanac may be right this year. they predicted very cold winter with lots and lots of snow. I need to get my garlic in the ground from the looks of it.

we had a freezing cold rain this morning but it let up about 8am and this afternoon has been a fairly mild fall day, it's even kind of nice in the sun! tomorrows meant to be freezing though, been checking the wood pile and making sure the heaters are ready today :(

Marriage license???

I was in New Orleans when it was snowing up here - it was cold enough for the folks in NOLA to wear a jacket - I went up to the rooftop pool!

Saw a few flakes today. I'm ready for some real snow.

We have patches of snow in the bush from the 3 inch snowfall last week. It went down to -12 and the beaver ponds are frozen. It would be a nice break if we were to be blessed with an early freeze up and winter for a change. The last few years winters have become pitifully short.
