Went for hike on Sunday with 3 friends, to the top of Snowdon via the Watkin path and South Ridge.
Our destination.
On the way back down.
Not long after starting our journey back down, an RAF Sea King was flying around our vicinity for several minutes. Eventually, it hovered over the ridge opposite us. The crew dropped smoke (just visible on the picture) to gauge wind speed and direction (usually done prior to a winch operation). I don't know whether this was for real or an excercise.
